VAS - Visual Art Studio, conceived in 1993, has provided fundamental
studies for learning and practices in the visual arts in Los Angeles area. Founded by
Helena Min who works as a visual artist and teaches at OTIS College of Art and
Design, VAS offers year-round Portfolio Prep Course to prepare portfolio to
enter professional art colleges. This course includes Drawing, Life Drawing,
Painting, and 2D and 3D Design. Admitted students in Portfolio Prep Course are
9th grade and older.
VAS Digital Art Prep Course offers graphic software classes including Illustrator,
Photoshop, Z-Brush, and Maya. Classes are open to students who needs to develop
portfolio as well as anyone who are interested in learning graphic software,
concept/character design, 3-D animation using ZBrush and digital painting using
Photoshop.
Art for Adults Class is for anyone who are interested.
